The presentation, entitled "Traditional Architecture and Urbanism, Catholic Culture, and Modernity," addressed a wide range of issues including the feasibility of designing and constructing buildings in accordance with the idea of nature and human nature within Catholic theology, in a world which does not on the whole adhere to this view of nature.

Michael PAtrick invited to speak at SJU D'Angelo Center Grand Opening

On December 7th, 2009, Michael Patrick presented remarks on the history and inspiration for the design of the new D'Angelo Center. Major donors Mr. and Mrs. D'Angelo were present for the event, which included addresses from the President of the University, Student Government leaders who were active in developing the program of the building, and Gensler's project manager Mark Thaler.
