PAPA's Michael Patrick invited as critic for CUA's acclaimed Comprehensive Building Design Studio

25th March 2010
Michael Patrick was invited to be a Juror for the Comprehensive Building Design Studio at the School of Architecture at The Catholic University of America for teh Spring 2010 semester. Please visit this web link for a description of the program: www.wix.com/cbdscua/cua-cbds-rally

This unique learning experience exposes the students to a comprehensive range of real-life experiences that will prepare them for the work place and making architecture for future clients. Each student must work collaboratively within a team, and the team's design must be worked out and documented through construction documents, including structural and mechanical systems and sustainable design strategies.

One team's project will be constructed in Washington, DC, a unique experience for the students, whose work normally remains unbuilt. Please see the following article highlighting this aspect of the program. http://www.capitalcommunitynews.com/CCN_Website09/images/papers/HR/Mar/0310/pdfs/52_RAG_0310.pdf
