Renovation of existing 900 seat Sanctuary, including marble repair, plaster patching and repair, painting of walls and ceiling including areas 60 feet above finished floor, and metal fabric cleaning. Michael Patrick and PAPA, Inc. also performed as construction manager for the Owner, and managed the coordination of the painting with the staging and scaffolding, which was under separate contract and was substantial and complex. During four-week project duration, Sanctuary was required to be open and operational every Sunday for services. Work included protection of organ, which is a National Treasure and of very high value, during prep and painting work.
Architect: PAPA, with Michael Patrick as PAPA’s project Principal in Charge responsible for specifications and all aspects of the project
